Chinese President Xi Jinping pledged to continue supporting ASEAN members in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recovery, during the Special Summit to Commemorate the 30th Anniversary of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations on November 22.
China has proposed to hold a foreign ministerial meeting with the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in June in the country, Japan’s Kyodo News cited government sources as reporting on May 7.
The ASEAN-China Week kicked off on May 23 in the Chinese capital of Beijing as part of activities to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations.
