Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy held a working session in Hanoi on March 23 with a business delegation of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) led by the council's President and CEO Ted Osius who are on a working visit to Vietnam from March 21-23.
Along with science and technology development, in the next decade, Vietnam will focus on promoting innovation, circular development and commercialising research outcomes, and hopes for the US’s support and cooperation in the process for common growth, stated Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy.
Experts and business representatives all stressed the need for a strategy for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Vietnam at a thematic workshop held in the framework of the 2019 Vietnam Economic Forum in Hanoi on January 17.
Vietnam has seen remarkable development in artificial intelligence (AI) and the country needs to take full advantage of AI for its development, said Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy.
Vietnam recorded the greatest ranking improvement on the Global Innovation Index 2018 (GII) thanks to the country’s efforts to deploy synchronous measures to improve its business environment, national competitiveness, and innovative capacity.
