Vietnam attracted a total of 27.72 billion USD in foreign direct investment as of December 20, equal to 89% of the figure of the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Vietnam’s industrial production recorded an increase of 4.82 percent in added value compared to 2020, according to figures from the General Statistics Office (GSO).
As of March 20, the total newly registered, adjusted capital and capital contribution and share purchase by foreign investors reaches 10.13 bln USD, up 18.5% over the same period in 2020.
In Q1/2018, total FDI from new investments, addition to existing projects and share purchase reached 5.8 billion USD, equal to 75.2 percent of the same period last year.
