Vietnam urges all parties to cooperate and dialogue to address differences regarding FSO Safer, the long-abandoned oil tanker moored off the coast of Yemen, said Nguyen Phuong Tra, Deputy Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN during a UN Security Council meeting on June 3.
Ambassador Dang Dinh Quy, head of the Vietnamese Permanent Mission to the United Nations (UN), has called on relevant parties, especially Houthi rebels, to create favourable conditions for UN experts to address the issue related to an oil tanker off Yemen waters to avert an environmental catastrophe.
PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) will be the supplier of a floating storage and offloading (FSO) system to the project of developing the Sao Vang-Dai Nguyet gas fields, which is invested by Japanese firm Idemisu Kosan.
