“Bo Gia” (Dad, I’m sorry), by directors Tran Thanh and Vu Ngoc Dang, was honoured as the Best Feature Film at Golden Kite Awards 2020 which was held by the Vietnam Cinema Association (VCA) in Hanoi on December 22.
The 2020 Golden Kite Awards have been postponed for the second time because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the physical distancing measures introduced nationwide, according to the organizer, the Vietnam Cinematography Association.
Chang Vo Cua Em (My Mr Wife), a movie on struggle of woman in modern society, won the two top prizes at the annual 2018 Golden Kite awards given by the Vietnam Cinema Association in Ho Chi Minh City on April 12.
Vietnamese movies “Co Ba Saigon” (The Tailor) and “My nhan” (The Beautiful Woman) were screened in Ottawa and Montreal of Canada within the Vietnamese Culture Work in the country from September 11-17.
