More and more US businesses have been looking to pour capital into or expand their existing investment in Ho Chi Minh City, especially in hi-technology, electronics, and telecommunications, as well as other areas where the city has strengths.
The establishment of the Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) – the country’s first independent and non-profit higher education institution- was announced in Ho Chi Minh City on May 25.
Ho Chi Minh City’s Hi-Tech Park has done a good job in attracting foreign capital and technology but it should make more efforts to boost the proportion of hi-tech products.
