HCM City’s exports in the first 10 months rose 5.5 per cent year-on-year to 36.7 billion USD, according to a report by its Department of Industry and Trade.
Ho Chi Minh City’s exports in the first eight months of 2018 hit 24.6 billion USD, an increase of 6 percent from the same period last year, reported the municipal Department of Industry and Trade on September 4.
HCM City’s export revenue reached an estimated 35.55 billion USD last year, a year-on-year increase of 16.1 percent, according to the city Department of Industry and Trade.
Ho Chi Minh City is likely to achieve export value of 35.2 billion USD this year, a 15.1 percent increase from last year, and imports of 43.1 billion USD, a 13.2 percent rise.
