The Red Cross Society of Hanoi held a humanitarian fair in response to the campaign “Tet (Lunar New Year) for the poor and Agent Orange victims” on January 16.

The Red Cross Society of Hanoi has rolled out a programme to present 10,000 aid packages containing food and foodstuff worth 200,000 VND (8.8 USD) each to pandemic-hit people across the capital city.

The Hanoi Red Cross Society (HRCS) on April 15 arranged six sites for the distribution of free food and foodstuffs in Hoang Mai, Dong Da, Thanh Xuan, Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, and Dong Anh districts in Hanoi, in a bid to support poor and disadvantaged local people facing difficulties amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fight against COVID-19 is gaining more strength as more support from the public was contributed to the efforts in the central city of Da Nang and Hanoi capital on April 6.

The Hanoi Red Cross Society (HRCS), the Wheelchair Foundation and philanthropists presented 160 wheelchairs to the disabled, Agent Orange victims and those living with fatal diseases in Hanoi on November 6.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) and its Hanoi chapter on April 28 launched the Humanitarian Month 2018, which was designed to last throughout May.

One hundred gifts on January 29 were presented to underprivileged children in Chan Hung, Thuong Trung, Van Xuan communes, Vinh Tuong district, the northern province of Vinh Phuc ahead of the Tet.
