Double-decker buses provided 127 free trips for 6,681 passengers during April 28 – May 2 holiday in the capital city of Hanoi, reported the municipal Transport Department.
The Hanoi Finance Department has been asked to work with agencies to review the list of new subsidised bus routes the city’s Transport Department has proposed opening this year.
The number of passengers using open-top tour buses in the capital was averaging about only 7 per trip each day, according to a report by the Hanoi Transport Company (Transerco).
