A total of 20 collectives and individuals were honoured for their outstanding contributions to volunteer work in 2020 during an awards ceremony jointly held in Hanoi on December 5 by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee and the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee.

National Volunteer Day 2019 was held in Hanoi on December 8 as part of activities in response to International Volunteer Day (December 5).
