Freedom of the press and opinions and the use of social networks in Vietnam are in line with the development of the world and the region as well as the development of the country in recent times.

The Freedom House has recently issued a report which again contains prejudiced and partial assessments on internet freedom in Vietnam.

Vietnamese relevant agencies always keep a close watch on developments in the East Sea, and Vietnam has full historical evidence and legal foundations to affirm its sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos in accordance with international law, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang has affirmed.

The website freedomhouse.org recently posted the Freedom in the World 2018 report, which maintained biased views and misleading assessments, despite many countries’ opposition.

Internet freedom in Vietnam is an irrefutable truth, or in other words, Vietnam is an Internet-friendly country.
