Vietnam is an important trade partner and a strategic destination of businesses from the Republic of Korea (RoK), experts said at a workshop held in Ho Chi Minh City on July 16.
Ho Chi Minh City and Daegu city of the Republic of Korea (RoK) should work together to optimise their cooperation potential in trade and investment in the future, said Le Thanh Liem, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, at a business forum between the two cities on November 13.
Vietnam has been considered as a “fertile land” for foreign food firms as many trademarks from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Japan and Thailand are seeking ways to penetrate the 93 million-strong market.
