Artists of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) are cooperating to produce a play titled “Ben khong chong” (Quay of the spinsters), the first work in a long-term project on cultural exchange between the two countries.
The Vietnam-Korea Culture and Culinary Festival 2019 will take place in Ly Thai To Square near Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi from November 8-10, the Republic of Korea (RoK) Embassy in Vietnam announced at a press briefing in Hanoi on October 31.
Choi Si-won, a member of the boy’s group Super Junior of the Republic of Korea, will join UNICEF’s #StopBullying campaign in Vietnam, which looks to raise awareness of young people on bullying and to engage them on how to develop solutions to end this problem.
Twenty-five artworks including paintings, videos and installations made by artists of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea are on display at an exhibition which opened at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum in Hanoi on July 4.
Vietnamese and Korean artists are showing their works at an art exhibition which opened in downtown Seoul on August 16, under support from the Vietnam Embassy in the Republic of Korea and the Korea Foundation.
Artists from the Republic of Korea will perform in the historic city of Hoi An in the central province of Quang Nam as part of the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival on June 11 and 12.
