A delegation of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) led by its President Ha Thi Nga paid a courtesy visit to Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou in Vientiane on April 4.

Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou visited the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang and had a working session with local authorities on April 29.

Vietnam always treasures and gives the highest priority to its special relationship with Laos, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong said while receiving Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou in Hanoi on April 28.

Vietnam and Laos need to maintain the regular exchange of delegations and high-ranking officials and strive to turn economic, trade and investment cooperation into a pillar of bilateral relations, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on April 26.
