A first-ever ceremony commemorating the death anniversary of Hung Kings, the legendary founders of Vietnam, took place at the headquarters of the General Association of Vietnamese in Laos on April 6.

Vietnamese Buddhist monks, nuns and followers gathered at Phat Tich Pagoda in the Lao capital city of Vientiane on May 29 to mark the 2,562nd birth anniversary of Lord Buddha.
