A delegation of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV) led by its deputy head Mai Phan Dung paid a visit to Hong Kong and Macau (China) from May 26-30.

A Vietnam – Korea culture exchange programme was held in Hanoi on November 20 by the Foreign Ministry’s State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese (SCOV) in coordination with the Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese and the Vietnamese Buddhist Cultural Centre in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

A delegation of the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOV) led by its deputy head Mai Phan Dung had meetings with representatives of Vietnamese associations in Australia, during the visit to the country from November 6-10.

A delegation of the Foreign Ministry’s State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOV) led by its vice chairman Ambassador Ngo Huong Nam, had meetings with seven Vietnamese associations in Japan during the visit to the country from October 27-28.

Vietnamese associations in Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Germany and Hungary have pledged to work closely in citizen protection and support for the Vietnamese community in Ukraine.

The Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOV) launched its portal at https://scov.gov.vn at an online ceremony held in Hanoi on October 23.

Teaching and learning Vietnamese has long been a big demand of the overseas Vietnamese community in order to preserve the homeland’s traditional cultural values, heard a seminar held in Ho Chi Minh City on January 6.
