The rose valley in the Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist area in Sapa town, in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai, has been recognised as the largest of its kind in Vietnam.

The People’s Committee of the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai has proposed the Ministry of Transport construct an airport in Sapa with total capital investment of nearly 5.8 trillion VND (252 million USD).

The British tourist who went missing on June 4 while climbing Fansipan Summit in the northern province of Lao Cai was found dead on June 9.
