A naval vessel under Navy Region 4 on September 14 completed towing a fishing boat with an engine failure to Song Tu Tay (Southwest Cay) island in Vietnam’s Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago, the central province Khanh Hoa province.
Two fishermen were rushed to the infirmaries at Song Tu Tay and Son Ca islands in Truong Sa island district, in the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa where they are under treatment for injuries they suffered at sea, reported the High Command of the Military Region 4 on September 8.
A helicopter operated by the Army Corps 18 under the Ministry of National Defence has operated an emergency flight to bring a fisherman suffering a stroke from Song Tu Tay island in the central province of Khanh Hoa’s Truong Sa district to Ho Chi Minh City for treatment.
