Many State-owned enterprises (SOEs) are finding it difficult to seek strategic investors following equitisation and have decided to retain the shares or sell them to the public.
State corporations and groups have been found to have committed violations worth nearly 350 trillion VND (15.5 billion USD) in State capital usage and management during the 2011-2016 period, according to the Government Inspectorate.
Up to 27 projects of seven State corporations are listed in the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s directive as being liable to cause environmental pollution.
