Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat is among the international airports with the lowest flight cancellation rates this summer, at less than 0.3%, according to FlightAware.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has issued official dispatch No 2947/CHK-VTHK requiring regional airport authorities and airlines to perform their tasks in the phase of renovating and upgrading the runway and taxiway systems at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports.
The Ministry of Transport has asked the government to consider allocating capital for the upgrade of runways at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports.
