President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on February 7 took part in the Tich Dien festival in the Red River Delta province of Ha Nam. The traditional ploughing festival is held annually with the aim to pray for a year of bumper harvest and prosperity.
The traditional Tich dien (ploughing) festival was held in Doi Son commune of Duy Tien district, the northern province of Ha Nam, on February 11 to pray for bumper harvests and prosperity for all.
On February 3 – the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, the Xuống đồng, or going to the field festival took place in the northern province of Ha Nam. President Tran Dai Quang attended the event.
