Ambassador Le Thi Tuyet Mai, head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the UN, WTO and other international organisations in Geneva, has reaffirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy to promote human rights and highlighted the country’s effective and timely measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vietnam has contributed to building contents of draft resolutions of the 42nd session of the UN Human Right Council in Geneva, Switzerland, which closed on September 27.
Head of the Vietnamese delegation to the UN, Ambassador Nguyen Trung Thanh, has called on the world community to actively build a feasible international mechanism to ensure the rights of fishermen.
