Vietnam’s NanoDragon satellite yet to enter orbit as scheduled

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency has cancelled the launch of its Epsilon 5 rocket, expected to carry Vietnam’s NanoDragon satellite and eight others into the outer space, on October 1, possibly due to technical problems. JAXA said it would announce the cause of the cancellation and a new launch schedule later.

Made-in-Vietnam satellite to enter space next week

MicroDragon, a made-in-Vietnam earth observation satellite, will be launched into orbit by an Epsilon-4 rocket from the Uchinoura Space Centre in Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture at 7:50 of January 17 (Hanoi time), the Vietnam National Space Centre (VNSC) announced on January 9.
