Vietnam’s airlines have announced plans to adjust domestic and international flights on September 16-17 to avoid impacts from super typhoon Mangkhut.

Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific and VASCO reported 26,578 delayed and cancelled flights, or 15 percent of their total flights,or 15% of their total flights, in 2018's first 7 months.

Vietnamese carrier, including Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific, and Vasco, operated a total of 150,010 flights in the first half of this year, up 9 percent year-on-year, reported the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).
