A programme to provide livelihoods, free medical check-ups and medicines for victims of landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXOs) left from the war was held in the central province of Quang Ngai on April 11.
A ceremony and a march in response to the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action (April 4) will be held in the city of Dong Ha, the central province of Quang Tri on the day, heard a press conference on April 2.
The Vietnam Association for Supporting UXO/Mine Action efforts (VNASMA) presented 20 aid packages, worth 10 million VND each, to victims of war-era unexploded ordnances (UXOs) in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on May 29.
