Vietnam came second at the international women’s volleyball tournament – VTV Cup Ton Hoa Sen 2019 after losing 1-3 to the NEC Club of Japan in the finale that took place in the central province of Quang Nam on August 10 evening.
The 13th International Women’s Volleyball Tournament, also known as VTV Cup 2016- Ton Hoa Sen, will start in the northern province of Ha Nam on October 8.
Thailand became the new champion of the VTV International Women’s Volleyball Cup and walked away with 10,000 USD in cash prize after defeating China's Liaoning 3-1 in the final match.
Vietnam will meet Thailand's U23 squad in the semi-final of the International Women's Volleyball Tournament – VTV Cup in the southern province of Bac Lieu on July 31.
Vietnam continued to maintain their victory run in the International Women's Volleyball - VTV Cup, defeating Liaoning of China on July 28 and thus staying put at the top of the charts.
