A virtual ceremony to honour winners of the Vietnam Ancestral Global Day Contest 2020 was held on July 7 night connecting Hanoi with 10 locations around the world, including Hung Kings' Temple in Phu Tho province and those in Malaysia, Taiwan, the UAE, Germany, Slovakia, the US, Canada, Australia, and Nigeria.
The Vietnam Ancestral Global Day will be celebrated online due to the complicated developments of the acute respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).
On the occasion of the Hung Kings Temple Festival, which falls on April 14 this year (the 10th day of the third month in lunar calendar), the second “Vietnam Ancestral Global Day” (VAGD) is slated to take place in Asia, North America and Europe.
