Hundreds of children and adolescences with disabilities from 18 cities and provinces gathered in Hue city in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue from April 1-2 for a sports festival held on the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day (April 2) and the Vietnam Day of Persons with Disabilities (April 18).
The 16th edition of the “One heart – One world” exchange programme is scheduled to take place on April 14, aiming to raise funds for people with disabilities, orphans and those in difficult circumstances nationwide, according to organisers.
Nguyen Duc Lan, 54, a person with a physical disability, is running the Hanvico Humanitarian JSC Company, which produces blankets, pillows, bed sheets and mats for military forces.
The annual “One heart – One world” exchange programme is scheduled to take place on April 16, aiming to raise funds for people with disabilities, orphans and those in difficult circumstances nationwide.
The Quang Tri chapter of the Association for the Support of Vietnamese Handicapped and Orphans will present gifts to the disabled and orphans living in need from April 16-20.
