Activities introducing and promoting litchi and other Vietnamese fruits at the ongoing Vietnam Festival in Japan have attracted attention of a large number of Japanese people.
The annual Vietnam Festival in Japan opened in Tokyo on November 7, making it the first large-scale event here since the city was included in the Japanese Government’s Go To Travel campaign.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem hosted a reception for Nakamura Hiro, Governor of Yatsushiro city, the Japanese prefecture of Kumamoto, on January 17.
The two-day Vietnam festival was started on September 8 in Japan’s Kanagawa prefecture, drawing large crowds of spectators as it is one of the most expected in the country.
