Overseas Vietnamese in Italy have raised nearly 300 million VND (around 13,200 USD) to finance the repair of schools in remote areas in central Vietnam which were hardly hit by natural disasters last year.
No Vietnamese in Italy have been reported to have contracted the acute respiratory disease caused by the the new coronavirus (COVID-19) so far, Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Nguyen Thi Bich Hue has told the Vietnam News Agency as the virus continues spreading the Europe.
