“Dien” pomelos from Yen Thuy district in the northern province of Hoa Binh are now on the shelves of Longdan supermarkets in the UK for the first time and been welcomed by the Vietnamese community and local consumers.

The move comes as a result of the province’s efforts to boost production and exports of agricultural products and opens up prospects for its products to conquer other selective markets.

Vietnamese pomelo has large potential for entering deanding markets including the US, the EU and Japan, according to the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency.
