Repairs to the Asia Africa Europe 1 (AAE-1) undersea fiber optic cable will be delayed to July 1 and expected to complete six days later, according to the managing board of the cable.
Internet speed in Vietnam is expected to fully recover on June 11 as repairs of the two major undersea cables are completed, the Internet Service Provider (ISP) said on June 3.
The Intra Asia (IA) cable system connecting Vietnam to Hong Kong and other parts of Asia encountered a power failure on January 10 morning, affecting the speed of internet connection of local users.
