Hanoi’s Transport Department is considering allowing coach stations in the city to open at night to ease overcrowding.

Transport units at coach stations and airports as well as train stations in Ho Chi Minh City are busy meeting passenger demand for travel before and after the Tet (Lunar New year) holiday.

Provinces and cities nationwide have stepped up inspections to stop coach and truck drivers from drinking alcohol or using drugs.
