Vietnam logged an additional 1,815 COVID-19 cases on August 13, according to the Ministry of Health.

On February 8, Malaysia reported a daily record 24 deaths from COVID-19, raising total fatalities to 896, while Indonesia decided to close its borders to foreigners for two weeks amid the spread of the pandemic.

Vietnam recorded six more COVID-19 cases, including four in central Da Nang city and two in northern Hai Duong province, on August 24 afternoon, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Thailand has gone 21 straight days with no new COVID-19 cases recorded on June 15, keeping the total number of infections in Thailand at 3,135 with 58 deaths.

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Vietnam confirmed 17 new coronavirus cases on May 7, bringing the total number of people who have caught the virus in the country to 288.

Malaysia on April 17 reported the lowest number of new coronavirus cases since movement curbs began on March 18, with 69 announced by the Health Ministry.

Indonesia on April 13 recorded 316 more SARS-CoV-2 infections and 26 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total numbers of cases and dealths in the country to 4,557 and 399 respectively, according to the Indonesian Ministry of Health.

No new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Vietnam in the past 12 hours, said the Ministry of Health on April 11 morning.

Singapore on March 18 confirmed 47 new COVID-19 cases, an all-time high, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 313.

By 7:45 on Feb. 10, 2020, 40,553 confirmed cases of 2019-nCoV infection have been reported globally, including 910 deaths (908 in China and 2 outside mainland China).

As many as 31,481 people have now been infected by the novel coronavirus.
