According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), by the end of February 2022, Vietnam has received more than 218 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines. MOH has allocated 201.9 million doses for vaccination work.

Vietnam logged 16,815 new COVID-19 infections on February 7, including six imported cases.

Representatives of international organisations in Vietnam have spoken highly of the solidarity and sense of responsibility amongst the people in the COVID-19 fight through the vaccine fund initiative.

Vietnam is expected to get 5.657 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 in March and April, according to the National Expanded Immunization Programme.
