The open dragon boat race 2019 kicked off at West Lake in the capital city of Hanoi on February 16, attracting thousands of locals and visitors.

Hanoi’s traditional dragon boat race is scheduled for February 16 and 17, the first weekend after the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

Thousands of oarsmen and hundreds of dragon-shaped boats from across Cambodia gathered at the Tonle Sap River stretch in front of the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh on November 21 to take part in Bon Om Touk, or the Water Festival.
