A conference on promoting linkage among the business community in the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) zone was held in the southern city of Ho Chi Minh on April 1.
The tax authorities conducted investigations and checks at more than 70,000 businesses, reducing losses of around 20 trillion VND (889 million USD) in 2015.
E-commerce is considered an effective measure helping businesses,
especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to reduce direct
transaction costs during times of economic downturn, according to the
Ministry of Industry and Trade.
