Despite being renowned for high quality flowers, the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong still faces problems such as poor storage and lack of new, high quality seeds that hinder its ability to satisfy domestic demand.
This year, the Sai Gon Trading Group (SATRA) plans to open a flower trading centre at Binh Dien Wholesale Market on an area of 14 hectares at a cost of 700billion VND (31 million USD).
HCM City’s first permanent flower trading centre will open at the Binh Dien wholesale market in District 8 this year, according to the municipal People’s Committee.
