The “Nhip tim Vietnam” (Heartbeat Vietnam) programme has saved the lives of 9,000 children suffering from congenital heart defects, heard a gala held in Ho Chi Minh City on May 11.
The “Trai tim cho em” (Operation Healthy Heart) programme has provided free surgery for nearly 5,200 children suffering from congenital heart defects, heard a gala held in Ho Chi Minh City on December 15.
The 6,000th child with heart diseases has just received free surgery under a programme funded by VinaCapital Foundation, said CEO of the foundation Robin King Austin on January 16.
Over 70 children living with heart diseases nationwide will receive free surgery worth 1.6 billion VND under a programme co-worked by Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage and the VinaCapital Foundation.
