Vietnam's central province of Quang Binh and Khammoune province of Laos have recently signed an agreement aimed at boosting their friendship and comprehensive cooperation.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stated that Party, State and Government leaders of Vietnam and Laos have always paid special attention to border and territory-related issues between the countries. ​

The Political Academy, under the Ministry of Defence, held a ceremony to present PhD degree certificates to General Neang Phat and General Phorn Nara, high-ranking officers of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, in Hanoi on May 12.
