Malaysian police have detained four men suspected for plotting assassinations and terror attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Muslims in Indonesia began fasting for the Ramadan festive month on May 6.

Ceremonies were held at 28 mosques across the Mekong Delta province of An Giang on May 26 to mark the beginning of Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims.
