The investigation agency of Ho Chi Minh City’s Police has started legal proceedings against eight defendants for illegally trading and storing drugs.

The police in the northern province of Vinh Phuc have brought to light a drug trafficking ring and found nearly 20,000 meth pills, the largest quantity of illegal drugs seized in the province so far.

The People’s Court of the northern province of Phu Tho announced on October 29 that it would be holding the first instance trial on November 12 for 92 people accused of involvement in a major online gambling ring.
