The Government promulgates a decree detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection, including regulations on environmental protection deposit in the import of scrap to use as raw materials for manufacturing.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed a direction calling for urgent measures to improve the management of imports of waste as production material.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs will study and submit to the Ministry of Finance a proposal to the Government to restrict imports of scrap materials and move towards a ban on scrap imports to Vietnam.
