Vietnam was among the ASEAN countries to join the Special Lunch on Sustainable Development, presided over by Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, during the 35th ASEAN Summit in Bangkok on November 4.
To achieve smart-city status, at least 90 percent of residents in Ho Chi Minh City should be using a smartphone by 2022, a top official said at a communications conference held in the city on July 16.
The achievements in the first stage of a project to turn Ho Chi Minh City into a smart city 2020 were listed by its People’s Committee at a recent conference.
