Vietnam has sent one of its largest and most modern frigates, the 015-Tran Hung Dao, to the Republic of Korea to participate in the third international parade in Jeju.

Ship 015-Tran Hung Dao of the Vietnam Navy will participate in an ASEAN-China Maritime Drill at China’s Zhanjiang naval base from October 21-28, the Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) newspaper reported.

Some 40 warships from countries across the world, including the US, Russia, China and Japan, gathered in the Gulf of Thailand on November 20 to join the 2017 International Fleet Review.

The Thai eastern province of Chonburi is gearing up for the upcoming ASEAN International Fleet Review 2017 to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 50th anniversary of the ASEAN establishment.

The International Fleet Review (IFR) took place in India on February 6 with the participation of nearly 50 countries, including Vietnam.
