Taiwan (China), Japan and the Republic of Korea (RoK) have re-opened their labour makets to Vietnamese labourers and apprentices, according to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA)’s Department of Overseas Labour Management.
Taiwan (China) and Japan are expected to remain the top destinations for Vietnamese workers this year with 90 percent of all overseas employees working there.
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has set a target to send 110,000 labourers to work abroad in 2018, with 40 percent being women.
