Stories about heritages in the northern province of Quang Ninh were told through a show of 17 collections of Ao dai (traditional Vietnamese long dress) at Quang Ninh 2020 Ao dai festival organised in Cam Pha city on December 26.
The sixth Ao Dai (long dress) Festival in Ho Chi Minh City is set to take place from March 2 to 17 in various tourist spots of the city, heard a press conference held in the city on February 26.
The Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) will provide 1 billion VND (44,000 USD) for the Ao Dai (traditional long dress) festival held under the framework of the Hue Festival 2018, becoming the bronze sponsor for the event.
More than 100,000 people joined various activities during the fifth Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai (long dress) Festival from March 3-25, the event’s organising board announced at the event’s closing ceremony on March 26.
