With an intact ecosystem and natural environment, Cu Lao Cham in central Quang Nam province has emerged as an appealing attraction for domestic and foreign tourists whenever they visit the ancient city of Hoi An.
The Prime Minister’s Directive No.29/CT-TTg dated November 1, 2021 has been issued which requires ministries, agencies and localities to take urgent measures to improve the efficiency of management of Vietnam’s marine protected areas (MPAs).
The Phu Quoc marine protected area (MPA), part of the Phu Quoc National Park, is located in the waters of Phu Quoc island district, the southern province of Kien Giang. It was established in 2007, and is among 11 marine protected areas in Vietnam at present.
