Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has directed the handling of stockpiled seafood in the four central provinces which were affected by maritime environmental incident in 2016.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has inspected the waste treatment area and production line of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Limited Company (FHS) in Ha Tinh province, asking the firm must consider the environmental matter to be a vital factor to the implementation of its large-scale steel project.
More than one year since the maritime environmental incident ravaged four central provinces, information about the results of investigations into Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh, has been made public while the supervision over activities of the violator has been carried out strictly.
The Government along with the Prime Minister, ministries and localities have proactively got engaged in the settlement of Formosa-caused maritime environmental incident in the four central provinces.
