Trinh Xuan Thanh, former Chairman of the PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC), denied committing asset misappropriation at the Thai Binh 2 thermal power project.

Punishments from five-years to life imprisonment were meted out to 5 defendants, including ex-staff members at a State-owned bank, guilty of misappropriating assets and violating loan provision rules.
